DCL was recently contacted to do a digital caricature of a beautiful couple announcing their twin girl baby shower. Here is what they received in a large 16x20" Poster and digital copy to email out. What fun!

Flying Magazine hired "Digital Caricatures Live" to create a take-away that was unmatched by any booth. DCL created 8 pre-designed background magazine covers that captured the various interests of Flying's readers. This 3 day show was DCL's biggest yet! The display was top of the line with two 42" flat screen tv's, the large 21" monitor and tablet, one large format, on-site printer, and 2 lovely assistants to keep things flowing. In all over 150 people were drawn. Check out these pics to see all that it entails!
Who better to draw than Brevard's Most Famous Morning Show Team. Sorry it took so long guys! Next one will be you guys in your true form... I'm taking suggestions.... Maybe Timmy driving the A1A FJ and pulling his pop up? Or Lisa doing teh hamster dance with her Amish attire on... oh wait your from Jamaica... maybe dreads would be better... oh wait Jamaica NY... hmm will hafta think of that one :)! HOW'D HE DO THAT? YOU MAY ASK.... SEE BELOW.
I do the caricature entirely on the good ol' Mac! I use a special pressure sensitive 21" Cintiq tablet that costs more than my car, but it does the trick! The pen is to the right of the tablet and is used in place of the mouse. Took me about 4 minutes to draw each one! Just kidding... Timmy took the most time because of the abundance of rosy cheeks and chest hair protruding from the A1A shirt...couldn't miss that. So I may have gone a bit overboard with some details... but I really enjoyed this one. Its a couple and their daughter (on the bow). The mom has an amazing friend who was generous enough to pay for a Caricature of the family to celebrate her 50th and their love for boating in West Palm/ Boca area. I love the composition of thus one and also the ability to draw up a boat... being a boat designer by trade :) www.rhoadsdesignstudio.com - for proof :) Started with just some gesture drawings to lay it out:
